As per the provisions of Section 124(5) of the Companies Act, 2013, any amount transferred to the unpaid dividend account of a Company and which remains unpaid or unclaimed for a period of 7 (Seven) years from the date of such transfer to the unpaid dividend account is required to be transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF), administered by the Central Government
s per the provisions of Section 124(6) of the Companies Act, 2013, all shares in respect of which unpaid or unclaimed dividend has been transferred under Section 124(5) shall also be transferred by the company in the name of Investor Education and Protection Fund along with a statement containing such details as may be prescribed.
Provided that any claimant of shares transferred above shall be entitled to claim the transfer of shares from Investor Education and Protection Fund in accordance with such procedure and on submission of such documents as may be prescribed.
As per the notification issued by MCA, Companies have to identify and upload the details of unclaimed dividend lying with them on their website.
Accordingly, the details of the unclaimed dividend lying with the Company are provided herein below. Those Shareholders who have not claimed their dividend are hereby advised to claim their unclaimed / unpaid amount due to them by making a request to the Company giving their particulars before the same are transferred to the IEPF. Once unclaimed dividend and the shares in respect of which the dividend is unpaid / unclaimed are transferred to the IEPF, no claim shall lie in respect thereof, with the Company.
