India’s bank credit growth remains robust, according to the latest data from the Reserve Bank of India. Aggregate credit extended by All Scheduled Banks reached Rs 235 lakh crore as of September 30, 2026, demonstrating a year-over-year increase of approximately 19.30%. The figure reflects a 3% rise on a fortnightly basis.
