The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has sanctioned the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Portfolio Managers) Regulations, 2026, superseding the current 2020 stipulations, thereby enabling portfolio managers to allocate capital to initial public offerings (IPOs), primary market debt offerings and a spectrum of international securities.
