The Ministry of Finance announced today that the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) has completed 12 years. This program has transformed India's financial landscape and is recognized globally for financial inclusion. PMJDY has opened over 59 crore accounts, with a deposit balance of Rs 3.17 lakh crore and issued 41.29 crore free RuPay cards.
