NITI Aayog stress importance of well-designed regulatory ecosystem

NITI Aayog announced that as India nears its demographic peak, there are valuable opportunities in professional services for high-skilled jobs, entrepreneurship, and innovation. A strong regulatory framework can enhance service exports, improve professional mobility, and facilitate business operations. During the meeting of the High-Powered ‘Education to Employment and Enterprise’ Standing Committee, NITI Aayog launched its third report titled “India’s Services Sector: Insights on Regulatory Regime in Professional Services.” This report evaluates India's regulatory system in professional services and compares it with other countries. It highlights key challenges and suggests ways to enhance the sector and maximize India's professional workforce potential, aiming to support the development of a competitive and inclusive services sector by 2047.
