India's Forex kitty tops $700 billion

India’s forex reserves rose by USD 14.136 billion to reach USD 707.002 billion for the week ending August 7, according to the Reserve Bank. Foreign currency assets increased by USD 9.946 billion to USD 574.625 billion. Gold reserves also rose by USD 3.995 billion to USD 108.738 billion, while special drawing rights grew by USD 79 million to USD 18.745 billion.
