Can Fin Homes has posted healthy 12% growth in the net profit to Rs 223.87 crore for the quarter ended June 2025 (Q1FY2026). Interest income increased 10% to Rs 1020.33 crore, while interest expenses rose at higher pace of 8% to Rs 648.31 crore. NII of the company galloped 13% to Rs 372.02 crore in Q1FY2026.

Operating expenses increased 40% to Rs 64.74 crore in Q1FY2026. Operating profit moved up 9% to Rs 307.35 crore. Depreciation jumped 32% to Rs 3.46 crore, while loan loss provisions rose 7% to Rs 26.25 crore in Q1FY2026.

PBT increased 9% to Rs 277.64 crore. Effective tax rate declined to 19.4% in Q1FY2026 from 21.7% in Q1FY2025. The final bottomline of the company increased 12% to Rs 223.87 in 1FY2026.

Book value of the company stood at Rs 397.4 per share at end June 2025, while adjusted book value net of net NPA and 10% of restructured loans stood at Rs 381.8 per share at end June 2025.

Business highlights     

The loan book of the company increased at steady pace of 9% yoy and 1% qoq to Rs 38773 crore end June 2025. About 70% of the outstanding loan book is from Salaried Professionals. Further 86% of loan book is home loans.

The disbursements of the company increased at improved pace of 9% yoy to Rs 2015 crore, while sanctions moved up 5% to Rs 2059 crore in Q1FY2026.

The net interest margin of the company eased on sequential basis to 3.64% in Q1FY2026 from 3.82% in Q4FY2025, while it improved from 3.57% in Q1FY2025.

The yield on advances eased to 10.09% from 10.11% in Q4FY2025 and 10.12% in Q1FY2025. The cost of funds declined to 7.47% in Q1FY2026.

Gross NPA ratio of the company rose to 0.98% and net NPA ratio increased to 0.54% end June 2025 compared with 0.87% and 0.46% end March 2025, while rose from 0.91% and 0.49% end June 2024.

Financial Performance FY2025:

Can Fin Homes has recorded 14% growth in the net profit to Rs 857.17 crore for the year ended March 2025 (FY2025). Interest income increased 10% to Rs 3878.26 crore, while interest expenses rose at higher pace of 12% to Rs 2488.16 crore. NII of the company moved up 8% to Rs 1390.10 crore in FY2025.

Operating expenses declined 8% to Rs 225.35 crore, allowing the operating profit to jump 11% to Rs 1166.11 crore. Depreciation rose 1% to Rs 12.87 crore, while loan loss provisions declined 3% to Rs 75.78 crore in FY2025.

PBT increased 13% to Rs 1077.47 crore. Effective tax rate eased to 20.4% in FY2025 from 21.6% in FY2024. The final bottomline of the company increased 14% growth in the net profit to Rs 857.17 in FY2025.
