Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited announced it received approval from Brazil’s ANVISA to manufacture and market semaglutide injection in Brazil for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, planning a launch in the coming days in partnership with Hypera Pharma. The semaglutide injectable market in Brazil is approximately USD 413 million, according to IQVIA data from June 2026.
