The Nifty November 2023 futures closed at 19,953, a premium of 63.3 points compared with the Nifty's closing 19,889.70 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 added 95 points or 0.48% to 19,889.70.

The NSE's India VIX, a gauge of market's expectation of volatility over the near term, surged 7.45% to 12.18.

HDFC Bank, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone and Reliance Industries (RIL) were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The November 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 30 November 2023.
